After high school, I enrolled in the Medical Faculty in Niš. Upon completing my studies, I returned to my hometown. I initially worked in the General Medicine Service at the Pirot Health Center, and a year later continued in the Child Health Protection Service. That same year I began working at the Pediatric Department at the Pirot General Hospital. Short biography
Specialist in pediatrics, subspecialist in endocrinology, with over two decades of work at the Pediatric Clinic of the University Clinical Center in Niš, focusing on pediatric endocrinology for nearly 20 years. Her extensive clinical experience encompasses, above all, work with both hospitalized and outpatient patients and their clinical monitoring across all areas of pediatric endocrinology: various stages of type 1 and type 2 diabetes in all age groups, thyroid disorders, growth and pubertal development disorders. In recent times, special emphasis has been placed on the widespread problem of obesity accompanied by insulin resistance, which can very often be complicated by various forms of menstrual irregularities in adolescent girls, particularly in the context of polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS). In addition to all of the above, every examination includes nutritional counseling tailored to the specific problem and diagnosis, within the framework of the "chrono nutrition" program for children and adolescents.
