Specialist in pediatrics, subspecialist in endocrinology, with over two decades of work at the Pediatric Clinic of the University Clinical Center in Niš, focusing on pediatric endocrinology for nearly 20 years. Her extensive clinical experience encompasses, above all, work with both hospitalized and outpatient patients and their clinical monitoring across all areas of pediatric endocrinology: various stages of type 1 and type 2 diabetes in all age groups, thyroid disorders, growth and pubertal development disorders. In recent times, special emphasis has been placed on the widespread problem of obesity accompanied by insulin resistance, which can very often be complicated by various forms of menstrual irregularities in adolescent girls, particularly in the context of polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS).
